Project Overview
The LNT Group were completing a complete refurbishment of their head office with not just new lighting a full interior design rework was completed. RICOMAN’s Lighting Design Team led by Tanisha Rout knew this project required innovative lighting solutions that blended functionality with the new aesthetics of the buildings laid out by the interior designers at LNT Group. Having supplied lighting solutions for LNT Group’s care home builds for around 10 years, RICOMAN was the natural choice when they decided to refurbish their head office.
The main office area presented a unique challenge with its custom-coloured dark grey ceiling tiles. After consultation with our production team and the LNT Group interior designers, we came up with a unique solution. To seamlessly integrate lighting within these tiles, we provided our O2 recessed modular panels, custom RAL powder coated to match the dark grey ceiling. This lighting design solution not only provided uniform and efficient office lighting in line with guidelines but also maintained the sleek look of the office’s ceiling. We had a similar challenge in the main reception area, this time we custom RAL coated our O2 luminaries to a lighter grey RAL colour to blend within the new office ceiling.
When our Lighting design team were working on the breakout spaces, a subtle creativity was required. We supplied suspended linear Estrella fittings in a creative scattered arrangement. This created a inspiring environment which still agrees to the required lux levels for the space. These breakout spaces are designed to foster informal interactions and creativity, and our lighting solution complemented this purpose perfectly.

Creativity flowed in the private meeting rooms and huddle spaces, where RICOMAN supplied custom curved linear systems integrated with Casambi controls. RICOMAN chose to use Casambi a control system because it allows the lighting levels to be tailored, providing enhanced flexibility and comfort no matter when or how the spaces are used. This was particular important in these office spaces to ensure that they could adapt to various meeting requirements.
